3‑Process CNC Router with Press Roller – Multi‑Function Woodworking Machine for Grooving, Cutting & Drilling
Description
Exchanging tools, resetting tool depth, and arranging plates are the main issues in machining. This three process CNC router combines functions for three issues. A machine has three main axes, each of which can perform a task well, including slotting, cutting, and drilling. Simultaneously equipped with pressure wheels to keep the material flat as it passes through. This machine is a great choice for cabinet stores, a door making line, or any woodworking enterprise that uses medium density fiberboard, plywood, or solid wood panels.
Features
- Three independent spindles: one spindle for slotting, one for cutting, and one for drilling, used for three specialized tasks. The entire process does not require tool replacement or manual intervention.
- Equipped with pressure wheels: When processing thin sheets, warped boards, and plywood with uneven surfaces, the material often has raised edges during the process. It can keep your material flat and the cut clean when passing through.
- Square guide rail: A high-precision linear guide rail made in Taiwan, which has better corner quality and long-term accuracy than low-grade steel rails, and is the most recommended for use by CNC routers.
- Z-axis screw: The Z-axis uses precision ball screw components instead of rack and pinion transmission. This is where you need positional accuracy to drill blind holes and slots to the same depth.
- Multi zone vacuum station: four to seven independently controlled vacuum zones. Run a complete 4×8 worksheet on all areas, or close unused areas when machining smaller parts. Reduce pump wear and accurately fix the workpiece in the desired location.
Parameters
Working Area (X×Y×Z) | 1300×2500×200mm / 1500×3000×300mm / 2000×3000×300mm |
Transmission (Z) | Precision ball screw |
Drive Motors | Stepper or servo (customer choice) |
Table Type | Vacuum table, multi‑zone |
Spindle Cooling | Air‑cooled (HQD/JST/HSD brand) |
Control System | DSP handheld / Syntec (optional) |
Optional items
Rotation axis: Add a fourth axis rotation axis for processing circular workpieces such as stair railings, table legs, chair parts, cane handles, etc., so that the machine is no longer limited to flat workpieces.
Vacuum hood: mainly used for collecting dust and debris, protecting machine components, and improving processing quality, which reduces the cleaning work for operators.
Servo motor: Upgrade the stepper motor to a reliable and economical servo motor, which can provide you with faster speed, higher position accuracy, and closed-loop feedback.
High torque spindle: Upgradeable to 4.5kW or 6kW spindle, capable of cutting harder and heavier materials.
Automatic lubrication system: It can deliver lubricating oil to key components in a timely manner, reducing daily maintenance tasks and extending the machine’s name and processing accuracy.
Frequent asked questions
Q: Do the three spindles run at the same time?
A: No – they run sequentially, one after the other. Spindle 1 does its operation (say, grooving), then the machine moves to Spindle 2 for cutting, then Spindle 3 for drilling. The software handles the toolpath and spindle selection automatically.
Q: How is this different from an ATC machine?
A: An ATC machine stores multiple tools in a magazine and swaps a single spindle between them. A three‑spindle machine is a simpler, more rugged, and significantly less expensive alternative if you only need three dedicated tools in your production run. Many customers call it “poor man’s ATC” – it does 90% of the job for 60% of the price.
Q: Do I need a separate vacuum pump?
A: The vacuum table requires an external vacuum pump. We can supply a 5.5kW or 7.5kW pump matched to your table size, or you can use your own if you already have one.

Bought this for door production. Groove, drill hinge holes, and cut out in one program. Solid machine for the price. Way better than swapping bits manually.
